Hiring Unit: Department of Chemistry Position Summary: Design, synthesize and evaluate GGPPS inhibitors. Interpret structural data, such as X-ray crystallography and Cryo-EM. Qualifications: Critical thinking. Attention to detail. Excellent communication skills. Education and Experience: PhD in Medicinal Chemistry. Strong background in organic synthesis of heterocyclic compounds and bisphosphonates. Excellent writing skills for drafting publications and previous experience in doing so in high-impact journals. Significant knowledge in cancer biology of hematological malignancies, such as acute myeloid leukemia.
