- Guest Service & Interaction:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, making them feel welcome.
- Ensure that guests receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service throughout their dining experience.
- Address and resolve guest complaints or concerns effectively and professionally.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverage items.
- Team Leadership & Supervision:
- Supervise and lead the waitstaff team, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure proper training of new staff and assist in their development.
- Delegate tasks to the team to ensure smooth service flow.
- Monitor the performance of the service team and provide feedback.
- Service Coordination:
- Oversee the overall dining experience and ensure all orders are accurately delivered to guests.
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate food and drink preparation.
- Ensure that the dining area is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Manage table assignments to optimize the flow of service.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Ensure the efficient flow of operations during service, from seating guests to handling special requests.
- Ensure proper set-up, service, and clean-up of tables.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of service equipment, such as silverware, glassware, and linens.
