National Sales Manager – Precision Manufacturing Equipment & Solutions
We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a leading organisation in the precision manufacturing equipment and solutions space.
We are looking for a seasoned sales leader with a strong track record of driving Pan-India business growth for advanced manufacturing solutions.
The role calls for a strategic leader who can build high-performing teams, engage with CXOs, and deliver consultative, application-led sales across key manufacturing sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the national sales and market expansion strategy to drive strong business growth.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team across India.
- Drive consultative, application-based selling by understanding customer processes, productivity challenges, and automation needs.
- Partner with CEOs, Plant Heads, Manufacturing Heads, Engineering Heads, and Procurement leaders to recommend the right solutions.
- Lead strategic sales engagements involving precision manufacturing equipment and customized engineering solutions.
- Work closely with application engineering, product, and service teams to design customer-specific solutions.
- Develop business across Automotive, Aerospace, Defence, Precision Engineering, General Engineering, Die & Mould, Industrial Equipment, Railways, Energy, and other high-precision sectors.
- Strengthen relationships with key accounts, OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and manufacturing groups.
- Identify new market opportunities and support channel expansion where relevant.
- Own revenue, profitability, forecasting, pipeline management, and overall business performance.
Desired Profile
- 15+ years of experience in B2B sales of precision manufacturing equipment/ CNC machine tools/ machining centres, advanced metal-cutting solutions, or related capital equipment.
- Strong exposure to application selling rather than purely transactional sales.
- Experience selling 3-Axis, 4-Axis, 5-Axis CNC machining centres, machining solutions, turning centres, automation solutions, FMS, or similar advanced technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with CXOs and senior manufacturing decision-makers.
- Proven experience in building and leading high-performing national sales teams.
- Strong understanding of machining applications, manufacturing processes, productivity improvement, cycle time reduction, tooling integration, and production optimisation.
- Experience working with customers requiring customised solutions for complex components.
- Excellent strategic planning, commercial negotiation, and key account management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
- Preferred Background in CNC Machine Tools/Precision Manufacturing Equipment/Metal Cutting and Machining Solutions/ High-Precision Capital Equipment
THE POSITION CAN BE BASED EITHER IN BANGALORE OR HYDERABAD WITH DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL.
