AI-Native Digital Experience & SEO Automation Lead

We are not hiring a traditional SEO specialist.
We are hiring an AI-native digital operator who treats AI as infrastructure — not novelty — and owns the website as a performance engine.

The Role
You will own Mattermost.com from a digital performance perspective.
This is a hands-on builder role. You execute daily while continuously improving the system behind the execution.
You will:

Build and maintain pages in WordPress

Launch landing pages quickly and efficiently
-
Continuously optimize SEO and search visibility
-
Automate repeatable workflows
-
Design AI-assisted systems that reduce manual effort
-
Treat the website as a growth engine, not a brochure
Core Responsibilities
1. WordPress Ownership (Required)
-
Build and update landing pages, blog posts, campaign assets, and conversion flows in WordPress
-
Maintain template consistency, schema integrity, tagging structure, and UX standards
-
QA releases for speed, mobile readiness, accessibility, and conversion logic
-
Collaborate with design and engineering while confidently building within templates independently
-
Troubleshoot HTML/CSS issues without hand-holding
-
Deep WordPress proficiency is non-negotiable.
2. AI-Native SEO & Automation
You will architect workflows — not simply “use AI.”
Examples of expected ownership:

AI-assisted keyword clustering and competitive research
-
Structured prompt frameworks for content briefs and optimization
-
Automated SEO audits
-
AI-assisted schema and metadata generation
-
Workflow automation using tools like n8n, Zapier, Make, APIs, or similar
-
AI-driven analysis of CRO tests and search performance
-
Integration of AI tools into repeatable systems
You should be able to clearly articulate:

The AI tools you actively use
-
The workflows you’ve built
-
The automations you’ve shipped
-
How AI improved speed, quality, or measurable performance
We expect experimentation, iteration, and systems thinking.
3. CRO, UX & Conversion Systems

Own optimization of demo flows, navigation, and campaign landing pages
-
Use analytics and AI to identify friction and drop-offs
-
Design and test experiments continuously
-
Partner with demand generation and performance marketing teams to ensure conversion efficiency
4. Analytics & Digital Infrastructure
-
Ensure tagging accuracy in GA4 and GTM
-
Maintain and improve reporting workflows (Looker Studio or similar)
-
Automate reporting and insight generation where possible
-
Partner across Salesforce, Pardot, 6sense, and related systems to ensur
