Roles will be aligned to the candidate’s technical discipline and experience and may include responsibility for single systems or integrated system groupings.
Engineers and specialists will work closely with designers, suppliers, installation contractors, systems integrators, and operations teams across all phases of the T&C lifecycle, including:

- Plan, coordinate, witness, and execute FAT, SAT, SIT, integrated testing, partial acceptance, and trial running activities for assigned systems.
- Interface with vendors, designers, installation teams, systems integrators, and operations and maintenance stakeholders to sequence activities, manage interfaces, and resolve technical issues.
- Manage test evidence, as‑built verification, snags, defects, and punch lists, ensuring full traceability from design requirements through to verified test results.
- Support verification, deficiency resolution, system acceptance, and handover activities, including transition to operations and maintenance.
- Contribute to handover documentation and support defect resolution throughout the warranty or defects liability period.
- Ensure compliance with site safety, quality, configuration management, and permit‑to‑work requirements at all times.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Ability to work full‑time, on‑site in Western Canada for the duration of the assignment; eligible to work in Canada or able to obtain appropriate authorisation.
- Minimum 4 years’ hands‑on Testing & Commissioning experience in rail, LRT, metro, transit, or similarly complex systems‑integrated infrastructure projects.
- Proven delivery experience in at least one of the discipline groups listed above, with working knowledge of system interfaces and integration.
- Engineering degree, engineering technologist qualification, or equivalent relevant trade, military, or operational background.
- Strong ability to interpret technical specifications, schematics, wiring diagrams, single line diagrams, P&IDs, network drawings, and system architectures.
- Demonstrated experience authoring and executing compliant T&C documentation and managing test evidence within a formal QA/QC and configuration management environment.
