Are you up for some hands-on, out-in-the-field work with cutting-edge farm machinery, truck driving, and some general labor on slow days? The food processing division of our company is seeking individuals who take pride in their work and aren't afraid to put in the effort. You'll be operating large, state-of-the-art farm equipment on the highway and in the fields of local farms. If you're not afraid of hard work and are eager to reap the rewards, we want to have a conversation with you.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Operate heavy farm equipment safely and efficiently, both on the road and in the field.
- Drive a road tractor pulling a vacuum or tanker trailer.
- Perform daily maintenance on our equipment.
- Provide accurate reports on your daily tasks.
- On rainy days and off-season: Perform general labor, wash equipment, and turn wrenches (driving a truck is an option if you have a CDL)
Qualifications and skills
- A passion for agriculture is a must.
- Careful attention to protocol.
- Experience with heavy equipment is required, preferably within the agricultural sector.
- Willingness to work an average of 50–60 hours a week.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Having a Class A CDL is required.
