They offer excellent wages, benefits and a great work environment with room to growOur client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structured Cabling Technicians to join their team.

The technician will be responsible for the installation, termination, testing, and maintenance of low-voltage cabling systems for voice, data, and audio-video networks.

The ideal candidate has experience working in commercial and industrial environments and can read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and floor plans.Role:

Installation and testing of optical and copper cabling systems,Installation of various technical equipment and hardwareBuild, dress, and manage network and AV racks, patch panels, and cable management systemsInstall various technical hardwareConduct testing and certification of cable systems using industry-standard equipment (e.g., Fluke testers)Troubleshoot and repair systems as neededRead and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematicsEnsure all installations comply with industry standards (e.g., EIA/TIA, BICSI) and local codesWork in ceilings, walls, crawl spaces, and various construction or finished environmentsCollaborate with project managers, IT teams, and contractors to deliver projects on timeMaintain accurate records of installations, configurations, service calls, and inspectionsRequirements:

Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in structured cabling, AV, and networking preferred but not mandatoryUnderstanding of BICSI, EIA/TIA standards, and general low-voltage best practicesProficient with hand tools and power tools used in cable and AV installationsAbility to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined or elevated spacesValid driver's license and reliable transportationStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilities
