Role & responsibilities
We are looking for a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our solar energy sales initiatives in the Nagpur region. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and promoting our solar PV solutions to [Commercial/Industrial/Residential] clients. This is an immediate hiring requirement; candidates who can join within 1530 days will be prioritized.Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and engage potential B2B and B2C clients through networking, site visits, and referrals.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly and quarterly targets for solar rooftop/ground-mounted projects.
- Site Surveys: Coordinate with the technical team for site assessments and feasibility reports to provide accurate proposals.
- Proposal Management: Prepare and present customized technical and commercial proposals, including ROI and payback period calculations.
- Relationship Management: Manage the entire sales lifecycle from initial contact to closing and post-installation follow-up.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on local solar policies, government subsidies (MNRE/MSEDCL), and competitor activities in the Vidarbha region.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record in sales within the Solar Energy/Renewables sector is mandatory.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of solar PV systems, net metering, and state-specific solar policies.
- Communication: Excellent negotiation and presentation skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
- Technical Savvy: Ability to explain technical aspects of solar installations to non-technical clients.
- Mobility: Must have a personal vehicle for regular client meetings and site visits across Nagpur.
