HIL Test Engineer

Qualification: M Tech/ BE – E&TC/Electronics/Electricals

Experience: 6 to 8 years

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform AC & DC charging validation on HIL setups
• Execute EVSE communication testing (PLC, CCS protocol)
• Conduct Diagnostic & functional validation (UDS, DoIP)
• Develop and maintain CAPL-based test scripts
• Configure and operate complete HIL environment
• Perform test automation using ECU TEST / CANoe / CANape
• Analyze logs using VSignalyzer / CAN tools
• Support ISO-15118 and ISO-26262 related validation activities
• Work closely with system, software, and hardware teams
• Track issues using JIRA or similar tools

Must Have

• 6–8 years hands-on experience in EV charging domain
• Strong knowledge of:
• AC & DC charging testing
• Value Added Services (VAS)
• EVSE communication (PLC, CCS)
• ISO-15118
• ISO-26262
• Strong knowledge of:
• CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, UDS, XCP, Ethernet, FlexRay
• Hands-on experience in:
• CAPL scripting
• ECU TEST Tool
• CANoe, CANape
• Good understanding of complete HIL architecture
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• ISTQB certification
• Flexible for international travel (up to 3 months)

Good to Have

• Python scripting
• Embedded test environment experience
• Real-time systems knowledge
• dSPACE toolchain
• Understanding of E&E development processes
