They could get trapped in a monotonous cycle of tedious tasks, shuffling data around, and missing out on doing things that really matter.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop innovative solutions and build new product features end-to-end, from the database to the UI.
• Develop complex frontend logic (using React/Angular/Canvas) alongside backend services to deliver seamless visual automation experiences.
• Improve existing code to enhance the maintainability, performance, reliability, and resiliency of our systems.
• Write and maintain robust tests to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Ship code to production regularly.
• Write and review RFCs and technical documentation.
• Review code and provide constructive feedback on the work of others.
• Grow professionally and help your colleagues grow.
• Participate in cross-cutting initiatives to influence how engineering practices and tooling evolve at Make (optional, but encouraged!).
• Be willing to participate on an on-call rotation to respond to incidents that impact make.com availability.

Charon is a cross-functional product team working on a mixture of core components and brand-new features for the Make product. Our team is responsible for up-market solutions, focusing on delivering features for Make's most advanced customers. Because our features are heavily user-facing, this role requires a true Full-Stack mindset with an approximate 50/50 split between Backend and Frontend work. We manage a diverse set of services with a primary focus on templates and credentials.
