Corporate Accounting Manager

Job Description

• Review of Financial Statements of Insurance Company on monthly basis.
• Regulatory compliance as stipulated by the regulator / other statutory bodies.
• Responsible for quarterly and annual audit, interaction with statutory / internal auditors
• Review of Investment Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Opex & Payroll Accounting
• Handling Corporate Accounting function
• GL review.
• Implementation of Ind AS.
• Drive various new business initiatives undertaken by the Company.
• Cross department co-ordination and management.
• Delivery of reports with highest quality and accuracy, business analysis
• Driving automation of Manual activities.
• Troubleshooting & validation of various data requests.
• Work as a team leader and support the team for various ongoing projects and tasks assigned from time to time. Specialized skills, competencies, qualifications and experience:
• CA with excellent academic track record throughout and with 6-10+ years of experience in Corporate Accounts of Insurance Company
• The candidate must be sharp and self-starter with an analytical bent of mind and should possess good communication skills.
• The candidate should be expert in conducting Financial Statements analysis
• Knowledge of IND AS.
• Well conversant with Accounting Standards.
• Conversant with IRDAI regulations.
• Be adept at doing financial simulations and spreadsheet analysis
• Understanding principles of accounting and compliance strategy.
• Team working capabilities

• Good knowledge of Excel, Power Point, MS Access etc
