As a faculty member at MAD School, you will have the opportunity to teach drawing and sketching to design aspirants from beginner to intermediate levels through both online and offline classes. Your role will involve not only imparting drawing skills but also providing feedback, conducting assessments, advising students on academic and professional goals, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Teach students the fundamentals of drawing and advanced techniques in design and sketching through both online and offline sessions.
- Offer constructive feedback on student work to help them improve their skills and develop their style. This includes correcting answer sheets regularly and publishing results.
- Prepare test papers, conduct mock tests, and evaluate mark sheets to monitor student progress.
- Guide students on academic and professional goals, including providing advice on internships, career opportunities, and college admissions for design programs.
- Assist students in understanding and selecting suitable design colleges based on their interests and performance.
- Keep accurate records of student attendance for both online and offline classes.
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters creativity and learning.
- Keep up with the latest trends and exam patterns in design education.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher in Design, Fine Arts, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong sketching and drawing skills, with a portfolio showcasing your work.
- Prior teaching experience in design coaching (preferred).
- Knowledge of entrance exams like NIFT, NID, UCEED, CEED, NATA, and JEE Paper 2 is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and mentor students toward achieving their design career goals.
