Role Overview:
As an Engineer II - Full Stack at lululemon, you will be part of the Global Supply Chain Technology team in the technology organization. Your role involves contributing to all areas of development and operations, from pre-production to production, while embracing Agile, DevOps, and SRE philosophies. You will collaborate with global teams to deliver industry-leading technology solutions that align with lululemon's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take part in Agile ceremonies.
- Perform engineering assignments following existing procedures and best practices.
- Conduct research to assist in product troubleshooting and optimization efforts.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure effective technical solutions.
- Provide escalation support and participate in on-call rotations.
- Monitor key metrics, report on trends, and contribute to the Engineering Community of Practice.
- Contribute to engineering automation and development of production systems.
- Perform reliability monitoring and support to ensure products meet guest expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Software Architecture preferred; substantial industry experience also considered.
- 7 to 9 years of engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of microservices design principles, REST APIs, and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Ability to quickly learn and work with new technologies in the Cloud/IT space.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, CI/CD practices, and Agile methodology.
- Design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade Java (Spring Boot) applications.
- Understanding of microservice architecture, REST APIs, and AWS cloud solutions.
- Experience with event streaming pipelines, CI/CD pipelines, containerized applications, and front-end applications.
