Job Description
Full Stack Developer
You will act as a full stack developer for the Section 7 team, improving mission processes and enabling activities through custom applications and data visualization. The candidate will work closely with the mission customer to deliver support on various tasks.
Responsibilities
- Develop scripts and analytics to provide novel insights into unique questions.
- Find and aggregate data from disparate sources and integrate into new and existing tools.
- Develop new UIs and visualizations for customers to better understand their data.
- Elicit requirements and feedback directly from end-users and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other teams to share expertise and elevate all teams.
Required Skills
- Experience developing in Python specifically for data transformations.
- Experience writing frontend web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript React.
- Experience querying and developing in a big data environment.
- Experience managing Linux servers.
- Comfort working directly with customers to solve unique problems.
- Motivation to architect and implement solutions from beginning to end.
Nice To Have
- Experience using AWS.
- Familiarity with other programming languages or frameworks (Java, FastApi, Angular, Spring Boot).
- Mentorship skills for teaching others.
- Knowledge of AI/ML and Big Data tools (DuckDB, Polars, Pandas, Spark).
Experience Required: 12 years with Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or 16 years without degree
Location: Columbia, MD
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph required
Salary Range: $204,000 - $247,000
