About The Opportunity

We are building a talent pipeline for upcoming Bilingual Communications and Marketing contract opportunities with our clients in Ottawa. While there is no immediate opening at this time, qualified candidates are encouraged to express interest in future roles supporting communications, marketing, digital content, brand initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and campaign coordination. These opportunities may be well suited to bilingual professionals with experience in communications, marketing, content development, digital platforms, and related support functions.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Supporting the development and execution of communications and marketing initiatives across digital and traditional channels
• Drafting, editing, translating, and proofreading content in English and French for a variety of audiences and platforms
• Preparing marketing and communications materials, including presentations, newsletters, web content, social media copy, and promotional collateral
• Coordinating campaigns, projects, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with internal teams and external partners
• Assisting with website updates, email communications, social media scheduling, and content management activities
• Supporting events, announcements, outreach initiatives, and stakeholder communications as required
• Monitoring engagement, compiling reports, and helping track the performance of communications or marketing activities
• Maintaining brand consistency, document quality, and accuracy across materials in both official languages

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Post-secondary education in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in communications, marketing, digital content, stakeholder engagement, public relations, or a related support role
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills in both English and French
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with content management systems, email marketing platforms, social media tools, design software, or analytics tools would be considered an asset
• A collaborative and professional approach, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, external partners, and service providers
• Experience supporting bilingual communications, translation coordination, or brand-related work would be considered an asset

About the Job

This role would offer between $28.00 to $65.00 per hour, depending on experience.
