Position: DevOps Engineer (GitLab Actions & CI/CD Pipeline) - Montreal, QC Location: Montreal Role Name : Dev Ops Engineer (Git Lab Actions & CI/CD Pipeline) Location : Montreal, QCJob Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dev Ops Engineer with 3 years of experience to lead the modernization of our data and application delivery processes The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing implementing and managing Gitlab CICD pipelines for complex multitechnology environments This role will be pivotal in our transition to modern Dev Ops practices focusing on automating the build test and deployment of both legacy data warehouse and NET framework applications using Git LabResponsibilities Pipeline Design and Implementation Design and implement endtoend CICD pipelines using Git Lab Actions for both the data warehouse and NET application stacks Infrastructure and Tooling Work with infrastructure teams to ensure environments are configured to support the new CICD processes Manage and configure Git Lab Runners and integrate other necessary Dev Ops tools Troubleshooting and Support Provide expertise in diagnosing and resolving pipeline failures deployment issues and other automation related problems Documentation Create and maintain detailed documentation for all CICD pipelines automation scripts and deployment processesSkills and Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of experience in Dev Ops or a related software engineering roleMandatory SkillsGitlab CICD Pipeline Expertise Extensive handson experience designing and building CICD pipelines with Git Lab Actions for complex Multilanguage multiplatform projectsPreferred Optional SkillsPython Experience with Perl or Python for scripting and automationShell Scripting Knowledge in Shell Scripting Bash for automating tasks in a Linux Unix environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to lead and mentorStrong problemsolving abilities and a strategic approach to automation
