Logistics Specialist III (Wed - Sat 3am - 1pm)

Training for this position will be held Mon-Fri first shift for first 2 months.

Location: The actual location of this job is in Portsmouth, NH.

This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

The Logistics Specialist III contributes within the team using SAP, Syncade, and/or Ship Console Systems for the receipt, storage, issuance, dispensing, and allocation of API and consumable components. Supports Manufacturing in handling and shipping products domestically and internationally. Demonstrates strong organization and time management skills while fulfilling primary role requirements in one or more of the following Logistics areas: Dispensary/FPA, Receiving, Shipping, and/or Warehouse.

What you will do:

  • Support critical manufacturing operations by ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, movement, dispensing, and inventory management of materials using SAP, Syncade, and other logistics systems.

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Warehouse, Receiving, and Shipping teams to maintain material availability, inventory accuracy, and compliance with business and regulatory requirements.

  • Execute day-to-day logistics activities, including goods receipt, stock putaway, order fulfillment, material movements, inventory transactions, and domestic and international shipping support.

  • Maintain compliance with cGMP requirements through accurate documentation, logbook reviews, circular chart activities, and the safe operation of material handling equipment.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancement opportunities, performing safety inspections, and assisting with internal audit preparations and walkthroughs.

  • Serve as a trusted resource within the department by acting as a qualified trainer, sharing knowledge with team members, and developing expertise across multiple logistics functions.

  • Demonstrate leadership and professional growth by serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), supporting departmental projects, driving operational excellence, and mentoring less experienced staff.

What Lonza is looking for:

  • High school diploma or equivalent or higher level of education

  • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, and learn Lonza systems for role requirements

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
