Job description
Long Ridge is a leading growth-oriented private equity firm based in New York City with over $2 billion in assets under management. Over 20 years, the firm has partnered with leaders in financial technology, business technology, and tech-enabled services at critical inflection points — applying deep sector expertise and an extensive network to catalyze transformative outcomes.
With top-tier returns across multiple funds, including an oversubscribed $730 million Fund IV activated in 2024, Long Ridge has backed some of the most successful companies in their sectors of expertise.
Long Ridge's culture is defined by collaboration, transparency, and long-term thinking. Team members work closely together across all aspects of the investment process and learn directly from senior leaders in a flat, apprenticeship-driven organization. The firm believes every voice counts and the best ideas win. In fact, most of Long Ridge’s senior leaders started at the firm as junior investment professionals and worked their way up.

Investment evaluation:
- Analysts drive the investment evaluation process and work directly with our Vice Presidents, Principals, and Partners, including on market research, competitive analysis, customer and expert interviews, business analysis, and financial/transaction modeling.
- Produce high-quality analyses and materials, highlighting key insights and implications for the deal team.
- Prepare and present investment materials and recommendations to the firm’s Investment Committee.
Portfolio company engagement:
- Support value creation efforts, including growth strategy, product expansion, execution, team augmentation, and capital planning.
