ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Welder, you will build to the highest standard our customers expect, turning fabrication drawings into precision-welded assemblies inside LVT's fast-paced production environment. You'll own your station—reading prints, prepping parts, and applying the right weld technique, machine setting, and cutting method for the job—while holding yourself to a standard of quality that protects LVT's reputation with every unit that leaves the floor.
This is an on-site, production-floor role based at our Spanish Fork, UT facility. Reliable, on-time attendance for assigned shifts is essential to keeping the line moving and the team successful.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Weld components to specification using MIG and TIG aluminum techniques across a range of assemblies.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and complex instructions to assemble and prep parts before welding.
- Operate grinders, torches, and plasma cutters to finish parts to LVT's quality standard.
- Prep materials using a horizontal bandsaw and drill press ahead of fabrication.
- Move materials safely and efficiently across the production floor to keep work flowing.
- Input production data accurately into the order system to keep jobs tracked and on schedule.
- Inspect your own work throughout the process, catching and correcting quality issues before parts move downstream.
- Communicate proactively with your team lead to flag issues, coordinate priorities, and keep production on pace.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Skilled Welder: You have hands-on experience with MIG and TIG aluminum welding and can adapt your technique to the job in front of you.
- Print-Literate: You can read and interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, and complex written or verbal instructions without hand-holding.
- Equipment-Ready: You're comfortable operating a horizontal bandsaw, drill press, torch, and plasma cutter, and you bring the tools, clothing, and aptitude needed to do the job right.
- Quality-Driven: You inspect your own work, apply lean manufacturing principles, and hold yourself to LVT's standard of excellence.
- Self-Sufficient: You work progressively with little supervision and take ownership of your station and output.
- Physically Ready: You can lift up to 70 lbs. repeatedly across an 8–10 hour shift and stay effective in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Sharp with Numbers: You can add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and work confidently with fractions, decimals, and percentages.
- Team-Oriented: You communicate professionally with your team lead and collaborate well in a team-based production setting.
- Dependable: You show up on time, every day, and can be counted on to execute this vital piece of LVT's success.
- Eligible to Work: You are 18 years of age or older.
COMPENSATION
The hourly pay range for this role is $23–$25 USD per hour, determined by job-related experience and education/training.
BENEFITS

We invest in our crew’s health, families, and financial futures with a benefits package designed to support you inside and outside the office.
