We on the Pixel Serving team are part of the Identity Engineering teams at LiveRamp. We are LiveRamp’s gateway for all realtime data workflows ranging from single digit milliseconds to under 150ms depending on the business use case. We strive to keep the internet open and privacy safe.

You Will

  • Contribute to building and scaling the next-generation, AI-forward advertising technology stack.
  • Own several distributed real time APIs and applications, written in Go, that service external partners
  • Help Develop robust cross-team data flows using modern streaming platforms like Redpanda.
  • Continuously improve the reliability, performance, and maintainability of core production systems.

Your Team And Tech Stack

Our team builds and owns the entire stack, giving us full visibility into the business problems we solve. We follow Scrum methodology.

  • Primary Languages: Golang (main), Java and Python (partially).
  • Core Technologies: Kubernetes, Redpanda, SingleStore, Terraform.
  • Cloud Ecosystem: Deep usage of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including BigTable, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, DataProc and Data Transfer solutions.

About You

  • 3+ years of professional experience deploying high-performance production code.
  • Willingness to learn and thrive in environments ranging from building and launching Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) quickly, to scaling existing products to high volumes, and managing complex, high-reliability distributed systems
  • Strong track record of contributing to maintainable, large-scale systems.
  • You are comfortable navigating complex, unfamiliar and unclear problem spaces and platforms.
  • You enjoy translating business challenges into effective technical solutions.
  • You thrive on mentoring and promoting engineering best practices within a team environment.

Bonus Points

  • Experience working on 0-to-1 (new product launch) initiatives.
  • Hands-on Experience scaling 1-to-N (large-scale growth) distributed systems.
  • Experience with designing and implementing interfaces and infrastructure for high-volume services and APIs.
  • Familiarity with the AdTech ecosystem.

The approximate annual base compensation range is $102,000 to $159,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.
