Role: Senior Performance Engineer / Oracle Database Lead
Experience: 8 - 10 Years
Domain: Core Banking (CBS, UPI, Payments)
Location: Mumbai | Pune | Delhi | Chennai
What You’ll Do:
- Performance Engineering: Lead deep-dive tuning using AWR/ASH, SQL Tracing, and Execution Plan analysis. You’ll be the go-to for solving I/O bottlenecks and memory pressure.
- High Availability: Architect and manage Oracle RAC and Data Guard. Own the RPO/RTO alignment for critical banking regulations.
- Mission-Critical Support: Lead crisis management for Sev1/Sev2 incidents and deliver executive-ready Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Security & Compliance: Implement TDE, Database Vault, and RBAC to ensure 100% alignment with central bank/RBI guidelines.
- Automation: Drive operational excellence using Python, Shell, and Ansible to standardize patching and upgrades.
The Toolkit We’re Looking For:
- Core Tech: Oracle 12c/19c/21c, ASM, and Exadata (Smart Scan/HCC).
- Performance: Expert-level AWR, Partitioning, SQL Plan Management, and RAT.
- Replication: Hands-on experience with GoldenGate and Active Data Guard.
- Environment: Experience with multi-terabyte databases and high TPS OLTP workloads.
