Salesforce Administrator
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Administrator with over 8 years of expertise in Salesforce administration. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing, optimizing, and our Salesforce platform to meet evolving business needs.
This role goes beyond traditional administration, requiring a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of Salesforce functionalities. The candidate will also leverage their backend development skills to ensure seamless integration, enhance functionality, and maintain data integrity across the platform. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Salesforce Administrator will deliver scalable, innovative solutions that drive efficiency and support the organization's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Salesforce Configuration & Maintenance
- Perform day-to-day configuration tasks such as creating user profiles, roles, permissions, custom objects, fields, validation rules, and workflow rules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues, track support cases, and escalate as needed.
- Data Management & Quality
- Maintain data integrity by regularly cleansing, de-duplicating, and auditing data.
- Develop and enforce data governance policies and best practices.
- User Training & Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for user support, addressing system inquiries and resolving technical issues.
- System Optimization & Improvements
- Identify areas for process improvement and make recommendations to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement new features or system integrations.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into key performance metrics.
- Monitor system performance and usage trends, providing recommendations to optimize operations. (a plus)
- Salesforce Upgrades & Releases
- Keep up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices, and provide recommendations for system enhancements.
- Test and deploy new functionalities, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align system functionality with business requirements.
- Manage relationships with Salesforce support, consultants, and third-party vendors when needed.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, data management, and security model.
- Proficiency in creating reports, dashboards, validation rules, and workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201 or higher).
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Good communicator who speaks their mind often.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to approach problems logically and methodically.
- Proactively seek knowledge about new tools and technologies to find better solutions to technical problems.
