Job Description
Overview
If you think CRO is just changing button colors to green, running "best practice" listicles you copied from a competitor, or obsessing over Conversion Rate instead of Revenue Per Session ------ Do not apply.
At EcomExperts.io, we don't do "website redesigns" based on feelings. We don't do "funnel jacking." We do Evolutionary Redesign based on the Billion Dollar Data Funnel.
We are looking for a Senior CRO Strategist who understands that a website is simply a domain that visually presents an Offer and communicates UVPs through Copywriting and Creative. Your job is to close the gap between the Actual Customer Journey and the Optimal Customer Journey.
Who You Are
- You are a Detective, not a Guesser: You know that demographics get the click, but psychographics win the sale. You don't move a pixel until you've analyzed the "Raw Data" and listened to the customer.
- You Design for the "Gator": You understand that 95% of purchasing decisions are subconscious. You know how to feed the Gator clarity and only wake up the "Judge" when it's time to validate specs and reviews.
- You Hate "Conversion Rate": You know it's a vanity metric. You optimize for Revenue Per Session (RPS), Element Revenue Per Session (eRPS), and Contribution Margin.
- You Don't "Test Everything": You prioritize ruthlessly using the ICE Framework (Impact, Confidence, Ease). You only run tests that matter.
What You Will Do (The 6-Step Data Loop):
- Deep Research: You will run the full data funnel. You'll analyze Customer Feedback Surveys (asking "What/How," not "Yes/No"), conduct Competitor Analysis via the 5 Pillars (Offer, UVP, Copy, Creative, UX), and dive into Revenue-Based Heatmaps.
- Hypothesis Generation: You will write hypotheses that actually mean something. Formula: "Because of Insight, if we change Variable, Metric will increase by [X]% for Segment.
- The 5 Pillars Audit: You will constantly audit client sites to find the weakest pillar, whether it's a weak Offer, a confusing UX, or a Hero Section that fails the "1-Second Test.
- est Design: You will design A/B, Multivariate, and Reverse A/B tests. You will ensure we hit 95% Statistical Significance and maintain a "Do No Harm" approach.
- Evolutionary Redesign: You will systematically upgrade our clients' sites from PDPs to PLPs to Homepages without ever needing a risky "Big Bang" relaunch.
- Intel Over Wins: Even if a test loses, you extract the intel. You understand that learning why something failed is just as valuable as a revenue lift.
Requirements
- 3+ years in CRO or high-level e-commerce strategy.
- Mastery of the 5 Pillars of a Website (Offer, UVP, Copy, Creative, UX). Deep experience with GA4, Heatmaps (Revenue-based preferred), and Screen Recordings.
- Ability to spot Friction, Flow, and Focus in user session recordings.
- Strong copywriting skills, you know how to write a "Dream Outcome" headline and a "How" sub-headline.
Bonus: You know why "Funnel Jacking" is a waste of time and why "Quick Wins" are a myth (mostly).
This position is a full-time remote opportunity with hours from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm EST.
