Process Engineering Specialist - Cell Manufacturing

Process Optimization:

• Lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for EV cells and battery packs to enhance efficiency, quality,and output.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Technology Integration:

• Evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies and automation to improve manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate new technologies into production.

Equipment Selection and Maintenance:

• Oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimalequipment performance.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with production, quality, and safety teams to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.
• Collaborate with design and product development teams to align manufacturing processes with product specifications.

Cost Management:

• Develop and manage budgets for process engineering projectsand initiatives.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities withoutcompromising quality or safety.

Risk Management:

• Assess and mitigate risks associated with manufacturing processes– PFMEAs, Controland Reaction plans.
• Implement measuresto ensure compliance with safety standardsand regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership:

• Build and lead a high-performing Manufacturing Process Engineering team.
• Providementorship, training, and development opportunities for team members.

Role Specific Qualifications/Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of experience in automotive industry or a tier 1 in manufacturing and manufacturing process engineering functions. A minimum of 5 years of experience as the lead of manufacturing process engineering team for the plant.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading process/manufacturing engineering for a cell manufacturing company is must.
• Extensive experience in manufacturing processengineering, preferably in the automotiveor EV industry.
• Strong background in implementing lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of battery manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Familiarity with relevantsafety standards and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
