• Link Technologies (LinkTechConsulting.com), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently looking for a Database Administrator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, including performance tuning, indexing strategies, query optimization, maintenance plans, and capacity planning.
• Manage and support Azure cloudbased databases (Azure SQL, Managed Instances, storage, networking, automation, monitoring, etc.).
• Support and maintain Oracle Databases, both onpremises and in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Perform database backup/restore operations, implement HA/DR solutions, and manage clustering, AlwaysOn availability groups, Data Guard, replication technologies, and cloudnative resilience features.
• Work closely with application teams to support database design, modeling, schema management, releases, and integration with enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with third party vendors to support gaming platform integrations, including:
• IGT gaming systems, including Patron Management (preferred)
• Everi gaming software and associated financial/gaming systems
• Troubleshoot complex database and application issues with an advanced problem-solving mindset and strong ownership attitude.
• Ensure database security, compliance, auditing, and adherence to IT policies and regulatory requirements.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, diagrams, and database standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service when working with internal teams in a fastpaced, highdemand environment.
• Participate in on call rotations and respond to critical system incidents as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or related technical role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration, performance tuning, HA/DR, replication, index optimization, backups, and monitoring.
• Handson experience with Azure cloud services, including PaaS/IaaS database technologies.
• Experience administering Oracle Database environments and familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Experience supporting or integrating with gaming industry platforms, including: o IGT Systems (Patron Management experience is a strong plus) o Everi gaming systems
• Strong analytical skills with a "can do" attitude and ability to independently resolve complex technical issues.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, handle shifting priorities, and deliver high quality service in a high paced operational environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Familiarity with ITIL practices, change management, and ticketing systems.
• Experience with data warehouse or BI environments.
• Gaming industry experience, especially in casino/hospitality operations.
