Specimen Collection Lab Technician

This part-time role focuses on facilitating seamless specimen collection for diagnostic testing. You will greet patients, perform required tests, and ensure proper preparation of samples for transport. Your ability to maintain relationships and manage data accurately is essential for this important position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients and clarify specimen collection requirements
• Conduct phlebotomies and connect/disconnect holter monitors
• Carry out specialized test collections with accuracy
• Manage client follow-ups and answer inquiries
• Complete data entry related to patient information

Requirements

• Graduate of a Laboratory Assistant program is preferred
• Experience in phlebotomy and ECG desired
• Strong communication skills and typing speed
• Customer service focus and empathy for patients
• Discretion in maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality
