Join LifeLabs as a Lab Patient Technician in Simcoe, ON, contributing part-time to healthcare innovation. This role includes patient care, specimen collection, and data entry tasks.

We are looking for two dedicated individuals to serve as part-time Lab Patient Technicians, primarily floating between Simcoe, Port Dover, and Hagersville PSCs. Responsibilities include greeting patients, performing critical phlebotomy tasks, and preparing specimens for testing. This position requires Saturday shifts and reliable local transport.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and explain testing protocols
• Perform accurate phlebotomies and ECGs
• Execute special test collections with proper documentation
• Maintain strong client relationships and handle inquiries
• Accurately enter patient and requisition data

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent
• Experience in phlebotomy is preferred
• Familiarity with ECG procedures is beneficial
• Strong communication and typing skills
• Ability to provide excellent patient service
