Job Details: Job Title: Junior Civil Engineer – Site Design Location: Germantown Job Type: Full-Time Job Description: A growing civil engineering firm is seeking a Junior Civil Engineer to join its site design / land development team in Laurel, MD. This role is ideal for an entry-level engineer interested in civil site design including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management for residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects. The selected candidate will work closely with project managers and senior engineers on the planning, design, and preparation of construction documents. Responsibilities: Assist with civil site design and land development plans including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management Prepare engineering drawings and construction plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D Perform basic engineering calculations and technical analysis to support design work Assist with erosion and sediment control plans, utility layouts, and roadway design Participate in site visits and field investigations as needed Support preparation of technical reports, permits, and documentation Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other team members throughout project phases Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering 0–2 years of experience in civil engineering or land development (internship experience acceptable) Experience or familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D Basic knowledge of site grading, drainage, and stormwater design Strong communication and teamwork skills Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Professional development and mentorship opportunities To apply, submit resume to jd@libertyjobs.com Joseph P.
