As a Manufacturing Applications Developer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing various Manufacturing applications solutions. Additionally, you will support existing web/windows applications within the enterprise. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Understanding and conducting technical analysis activities such as requirements gathering, definition, testing, and implementation of Manufacturing projects.
- Performing gap analysis of user requirements against software functionality and defining Engineering solution architectures.
- Collaborating with business and functional groups (US Team) to review and analyze business requirements and functional specifications.
- Working with other architects and developers to design the architectural approach for project use cases.
- Providing estimates for various initiatives in collaboration with system architects and functional groups.
- Offering plant support during emergencies and facilitating custom DOT NET solution development and rollout.
- Utilizing .NET expertise to build high-quality, maintainable development solutions following industry-wide best practices.
- Providing development support for .NET solutions in testing and migration to Production.
- Troubleshooting issues, making enhancements, or bug fixes to existing .NET and other web applications in Production.
- Staying updated on current technology trends in the field.
Qualifications Required:
- 2-4 years of overall work experience across all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) with hands-on experience in requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment of .NET projects.
- Minimum 2 years of extensive experience with .NET technologies such as ASP.NET Core, MVC, WCF, and web service standards like RESTful APIs and SOAP.
- Minimum 2 years of strong, hands-on experience in database design and optimization using Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and/or 2019.
- Strong analytical, business, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Engineering and Manufacturing applications is an advantage.
