• Description Leidos is seeking a Junior Software Developer to be part of the mission solution and help lead SSA’s Digital Modernization Strategy. • Perform technical tasks as assigned, including software development, technical analysis/research, debugging/testing, etc.
• Attend team meetings and agile ceremonies and participate in the software engineering lifecycle
• Analyze and improve code and participate in code peer review process to ensure the highest degree of software quality
• Communicate clearly and effectively with Leidos team members as well as SSA leaders in all team meetings/discussions
• All other duties as assigned or directed FOUNDATION FOR SUCCESS ( Basic Qualifications )
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 0-2 years of experience
• Basic knowledge in foundational technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Java Script
• Proficiency in one or more languages (ie Java, Python, C#)
• Understanding of Angular, .NET Web API, React, or Node.js
• Understanding of Git, Git Hub, Docker and RESTful APIs
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
