The Leidos Software Accelerator is seeking skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineers to construct and design Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines that enhance the secure delivery of software to production. You will be pivotal in automating the setup of infrastructure across cloud platforms, on-premises systems, and edge environments. Your role will involve deploying and operating Kubernetes clusters and microservices. As part of dynamic and agile software teams, you will contribute to our innovative mission platform, with a focus on providing exceptional solutions in a collaborative and welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug critical infrastructure.
- Manage both private and public cloud infrastructures through code, creating reusable components for scalable, highly-available, and secure architectures for cloud applications.
- Facilitate continuous integration and delivery for our diverse software products by implementing industry best practices for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and automated deployments.
- Continuously assess and adopt best practices to promote ongoing improvement across teams.
- Translate high-level requirements from senior engineers and program management into actionable tasks for the team.
- Provide process and program recommendations to enhance project workflow.
- Lead projects or processes within specific technical areas.
- Guide and evaluate the work of junior technical staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 12+ years of relevant experience. Equivalent experience may substitute for a degree.
- Solid experience with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies and principles.
- Strong foundational knowledge of software design patterns and programming languages.
- Proficient problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently, while also possessing the communication skills needed to collaborate effectively with software development teams and clients.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
- Expertise in leading entire projects or processes within technical domains.
- Experience mentoring and assessing the work of junior staff.
- Ability to obtain U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.
- Capability to support program execution in classified settings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems, network management, and networking protocols (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS, SMTP, DNS).
- Experience in provisioning and managing resources in IaaS/Cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Experience with automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of GitOps tools such as Argo CD, Flux CD, Fleet, or similar.
- A professional cybersecurity certification, such as Security+, is a plus.

Pay Range: $131,300.00 - $237,350.00
