POSITION DETAILS

• Employment Type: Full-Time Preferred | Part-Time Considered (Summer or Fall start)
• Schedule: Tuesday–Friday (4 days/week) to start | Open to 5 days/week
• Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Morning huddle at 7:45 AM
• Target Start: September 2026 (full-time) | Earlier part-time start welcome
• Probationary Period: 4 months

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Base Pay: $50–$60/hr based on experience and qualifications
• Bonuses: Performance-based incentives

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform comprehensive hygiene assessments, periodontal charting, and oral cancer screenings
• Deliver individualized prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing treatments
• Take and process digital X-rays and assist with CBCT imaging as needed
• Integrate airway and myofunctional screening into patient assessments
• Educate patients on oral health, disease prevention, and treatment options
• Collaborate with the clinical team on comprehensive treatment planning
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the practice management system
• Support a smooth, efficient patient flow throughout the day
• Uphold infection control and safety protocols at all times
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace culture

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Licensure: Active registration with the Saskatchewan Dental Hygienists' Association (SDHA) — required prior to start date
• Education: Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution
• Experience: Previous hygiene experience preferred; new graduates with the right attitude, communication skills, and patient care values are welcome to apply
• Technology: Comfort with digital workflows and practice management software is an asset
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills. The ability to build patient trust quickly is essential
• Character: Warm, professional, dependable, and a genuine team player
