At Legacy Dental, we truly value that role, and we’re looking for a Full-Time Certified Dental Assistant to join our upbeat and supportive team.

This opportunity has opened because one of our favourite dental assistants has recently left on an 18-month maternity leave. We’re so excited for her, and in the meantime, we’re looking for someone great to step into a role that is genuinely valued within our practice.

POSITION DETAILS

• Employment Type: Full-Time, Temporary | Potential Permanent for the right candidate
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (4-day workweek)
• Pay: $28–$35/hr (based on experience)
• Start Date: As soon as available
• Probationary Period: 4 months

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Uniform Allowance: $150 per year

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the dentist chairside during examinations, restorative procedures, extractions, and other treatments
• Perform child recall services
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories between patients
• Take and process digital X-rays and assist with CBCT imaging
• Take impressions and perform intraoral scans using iTero
• Provide patients with post-operative instructions and care information
• Support a smooth, efficient patient flow throughout the day
• Uphold infection control and safety protocols at all times
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace culture

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Certification: Active CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) registration with the Saskatchewan Dental Assistants' Association (SDAA) - required prior to start date
• Experience: Previous dental assisting experience preferred; new graduates with the right attitude and work ethic are welcome to apply
• Technology: Comfort with digital dental technology and practice management software is an asset
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Is coachable, growth-oriented, and excited to keep learning
