Web Application Developer

Position Summary

A consulting and analytics firm based in Sterling, VA is seeking a Web Application Developer. The role focuses on developing and maintaining internal and client-facing web applications while contributing to new product development. Candidates should be comfortable working across both front-end and back-end development and have hands-on experience independently deploying applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web and mobile-friendly applications.
• Build and support full stack solutions, including front-end, back-end, and database components.
• Manage application deployments using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders using tools like Git, Figma, and Trello.
• Ensure applications meet performance, security, and usability standards.
• Contribute ideas to improve internal tools and client-facing products.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of full stack development experience.
• Experience independently deploying applications (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar).
• Experience with modern web technologies such as React, Django, or similar frameworks.
• Ability to work in Linux or macOS environments.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with TypeScript, React, Tailwind, Django, GitHub Actions, or Docker.
• Experience mentoring or coaching developers.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required.
