Hotel Front Desk Clerk Night time

Overview

Join our hospitality team as a Night Front Desk Clerk, where you’ll be the welcoming presence for guests during evening and overnight hours. You’ll handle check-ins and check-outs, assist guests with inquiries, ensure safety, and support smooth hotel operations throughout the night.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly, verify reservations, process payments, and complete check-in/out procedures.
• Manage multi-line phones, handle guest inquiries, and respond to requests promptly.
• Provide local information, resolve issues, and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Complete nightly bucket audits and system audits, ensuring accurate billing and records.
• Monitor CCTV, follow security protocols, and conduct periodic safety checks.
• Handle late-night check-outs and ensure all charges are posted correctly.
• Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance on early-morning needs or requests.
• Document incidents and notable activity in nightly shift reports.
• Clean and maintain the lobby each night.

Preferred Qualifications

• Front desk experience, especially night shift, strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to use Google Translate; bilingual skills are a plus.
• Experience with Opera or similar hotel management systems.
• Familiarity with night audit procedures and general hotel operations.
• Excellent phone etiquette, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain safety and hospitality standards overnight.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
