Lakay Assisted Living, a boutique residential assisted living community in North Potomac/Germantown, Maryland, is seeking a motivated and creative part-time Healthcare Marketing & Community Outreach Coordinator to help expand our community presence, build referral relationships, and connect families with compassionate senior care.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent marketing graduate or early-career marketing professional who is interested in gaining hands-on experience in healthcare marketing, community outreach, relationship building, and brand growth.

Lakay Assisted Living provides personalized residential care with enhanced clinical support, including daily Registered Nurse and Respiratory Therapist oversight. We specialize in caring for seniors with complex medical needs while providing a warm, home-like environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute community outreach strategies to increase awareness of Lakay Assisted Living
• Build relationships with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, home health agencies, hospice organizations, physicians, and senior care professionals
• Introduce Lakay Assisted Living services to potential referral partners
• Assist with referral tracking, follow-up communication, and maintaining marketing relationships
• Help coordinate community networking opportunities and outreach events
• Support digital marketing efforts, including social media content, email campaigns, and online presence
• Assist with creating marketing materials and promoting Lakay’s unique services and clinical capabilities

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or current student in Marketing, Communications, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Creative thinker with the ability to develop new outreach ideas
• Comfortable networking and building professional relationships
• Organized, dependable, and able to work independently
• Interest in healthcare, senior care, or community-based services is a plus

Schedule:

Part-time flexible schedule (approximately 10–15 hours per week)

Compensation

Competitive hourly pay with potential performance-based incentives.
