Location: Krishna Hospital, Cuddalore

Experience: 0–3 years (Hospital / Retail Pharmacy experience preferred)

Employment Type: Full-time (Shift-based role)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our hospital pharmacy. The role involves dispensing medicines, handling patient queries, and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing medicines as per prescription
• Handle patient/customer interactions at the pharmacy counter
• Ensure correct billing and payment collection
• Maintain proper stock of medicines and update inventory records
• Check expiry dates and ensure proper storage of medicines
• Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff for medication requirements
• Handle multiple customers efficiently during peak hours
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy

Work Schedule

• Rotational shifts:
• Morning / Evening / Night shifts as per hospital schedule
• Weekly off on rotation
• Flexibility to work across shifts is required

Key Skills Required

• Good communication skills (Tamil required, basic English preferred)
• Basic computer knowledge for billing and stock entry
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Polite and customer-friendly attitude

Preferred Profile

• Experience in hospital or retail pharmacy
• Basic knowledge of medicines and prescriptions
• D.Pharm / B.Pharm candidates preferred (not mandatory for assistants)
