Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fireman role based at KRBL’s facility in Dhuri. The Fireman is responsible for monitoring and operating firefighting equipment, inspecting fire safety systems, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures across the site. Daily tasks include conducting routine fire risk checks, maintaining extinguishers and hydrants, and supporting emergency response drills and training. The role involves responding promptly to fire alarms and emergencies, coordinating with safety and operations teams, and assisting in evacuation and rescue when required. The Fireman also helps maintain documentation related to fire safety, incident reports, and preventive maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Relevant firefighting training or certification from a recognized institution; prior experience as a Fireman or in industrial fire safety is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fire prevention methods, use of firefighting equipment, and emergency response procedures in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Good physical fitness, ability to work in high-risk situations, and readiness for shift-based and emergency duty.
• Ability to read and follow safety instructions, maintain accurate records, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
• Awareness of occupational health and safety regulations; familiarity with basic first aid and rescue techniques is an advantage.
• Secondary school education or equivalent; additional technical or safety certifications will be beneficial.
