Backend Engineer for Trading Platform

In this senior role at Breakout, you will actively design, implement, and maintain back-end services crucial to our trading platform. Collaborating closely with the CTO and various teams, you’ll enhance the performance and reliability of our systems while ensuring transparency in trading activities and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain low-latency back-end services and RESTful APIs
• Architect solutions for real-time financial data and trade analysis
• Build data pipelines to support metrics dashboards and reporting
• Optimize complex queries in PostgreSQL for performance
• Implement security practices for data integrity and encryption

Requirements

• 7+ years in backend engineering, 3+ in financial systems
• Proficient in C#, ASP.NET Core, and PostgreSQL
• Experience deploying applications in AWS
• Familiar with real-time data pipelines and APIs
• Strong problem-solving skills for scalable software development
