Job Description

As a Manager in the Financial Due Diligence (FDD) team at KPMG Delivery Network, you will play a crucial role in delivering end-to-end due diligence engagements for clients across transactions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting end-to-end financial due diligence
  • Identifying key value drivers and risks through relevant financial analysis
  • Undertaking smaller assignments or assisting in larger assignments under the guidance of the Director
  • Writing sections of FDD/VDD reports
  • Analyzing financial information such as trial balances, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows in depth
  • Highlighting unusual trends, observations, and framing questions for management
  • Interacting with clients or target management
  • Reviewing data books prepared in accordance with firm and professional standards
  • Reviewing the work performed by subordinates and providing coaching
  • Establishing strong professional relationships with onshore team members
  • Providing support and assistance for proposals and business development

Qualifications Required:

  • MBA Finance, CFA, CPA, M. Com., Post-graduate in Finance, or CA
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role, particularly in a professional services firm/third-party KPO/internal research/strategy teams within key technology companies

Mandatory Technical & Functional Skills:

  • Prior experience in detailed financial statement analysis and a strong working knowledge of accounting
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and commercial experience in advising clients on engagements
  • Passion for Deal advisory with a history of continuous learning and seeking development opportunities

Project and Team Management Exposure:

  • Experience in project scoping, effort estimation, project work planning, team handling, staffing, and performance management
  • Ability to operate as an independent contributor and as part of a team during larger projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially in complex and ambiguous situations
  • Goal-driven mindset focused on helping clients meet their requirements through relevant insights and key questions
  • Experience in managing a team of 5-10 professionals
