Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Full-time Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse distribution, order fulfillment, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with heavy equipment operation, and a solid understanding of warehouse management systems. Duties
- Perform order picking and load & unload shipments efficiently and accurately
- Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other machinery safely
- Manage shipping & receiving processes to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and update records
- Assist with the movement of materials using heavy equipment and manual handling as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and productivity
- Support construction-related tasks or projects that require warehouse support or heavy lifting
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs or safety hazards
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related fields
- Mechanical knowledge with experience operating forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, or similar heavy equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks throughout the shift
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and order picker technology
- Construction experience or background is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management
- Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and adhere to safety protocols
- Prior experience with load & unload operations and order picking is preferred
- Reliable work ethic with the ability to work full-time hours in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $18.10-$19.93 per hour
