Position Overview

Location: Kia India Pvt., Ltd., Penukonda Mandal, Sri Sathyasai District,

Formally (Anantapur District), Andhra Pradesh

Designation: Asst. Manager / Dy. Manager – Team Member

Reporting To: Head of Section [Compensation and Benefits]

Function: Payroll

Required Mandatory Skill Set:

Experience: Minimum 3-8 Years of experience in end-to-end payroll operations, full & final settlements, and statutory compliance. preferably SAP Knowledge

Qualification: MBA in HR / Finance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Payroll Management

  • Maintain and update employee records including personal details, bank information, Aadhaar, PAN, and salary structure in SAP.
  • Collect and consolidate payroll inputs such as shift allowances and other variable components from stakeholders.
  • Process monthly payroll accurately within defined timelines.
  • Validate payroll outputs to ensure correctness and compliance.
  • Share payroll reports with leadership for review and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Prepare final salary approval documents and coordinate with Finance for disbursement.
  • Generate and share bank advice statements with Finance for salary processing.

2. Full & Final Settlement (FnF)

  • Maintain and track Full & Final Settlement (FnF) records.
  • Ensure issuance of relieving letters on the employee’s last working day.
  • Complete FnF settlements within the timeline of the month.
  • Handle absconding cases by initiating duty reporting notices or termination communications.
  • Coordinate with Finance for timely release of FnF payments.

3. Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure timely and accurate statutory contributions and filings as per regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare Professional Tax (PT) files and coordinate with Finance for payments.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance adherence at all intervals.
  • Maintaining reports to support audit and compliance requirements, as well as management review.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing and statutory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP payroll or similar ERP systems.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong in Audit Reporting's

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA in HR / Finance.
  • Experience in handling end-to-end payroll for mid to large-sized organizations.
  • Familiarity with Indian statutory requirements (PF, ESI, PT, etc.).
