Senior React Native Developer

Responsibilities

Kforce's client in Bethesda, MD is looking for a Contract to Hire React Native Developer who can work onsite. Summary: In this role, the Senior React Native Developer will collaborate closely with product, engineering, UX, and QA teams to enhance functionality while building responsive, accessible components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React Native. They will contribute to shared component libraries, write performant and maintainable code, mentor junior developers, and ensure smooth production releases. With a mobile-first mindset, this person will translate requirements into polished user experiences, troubleshoot issues, and uphold best practices in accessibility, testing, and code quality. As a Senior React Native Developer, you will bring a strong foundation in JavaScript/ES6, React or React Native, mobile development across iOS and Android, and experience with responsive design, UI development, and statically typed languages. Solid coding habits-documentation, reviews, version control-paired with strong communication, problem-solving skills, performance tuning expertise, and familiarity with agile tools like Jira will set you up for success. Experience with Go is a plus.

Requirements

• 4+ years of React Native experience
• SQL experience
• Go experience
• To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
