Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Full-time Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is vital for ensuring the efficient operation of warehouse distribution, shipping, and receiving processes. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and safety are paramount.
Duties
- Load and unload shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes
- Pick and prepare orders accurately utilizing order picker and warehouse management systems
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, crane, and other heavy equipment in compliance with safety standards
- Manage shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring timely processing of goods
- Assist with construction-related tasks when required, utilizing construction experience as needed
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and organization
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure operational safety
- Support warehouse organization by loading, unloading, and moving materials efficiently
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related fields
- Mechanical knowledge for operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other machinery
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for order picking and inventory control
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures
- Construction experience is a plus for handling specialized tasks
- Ability to operate heavy equipment including load & unload operations with precision
- Prior experience with order picker machines and warehouse operations highly preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in fast-paced environments
Pay: $25.85-$28.68 per hour
