QC Chemist

Join our Quality Control team as a QC Laboratory Analyst and play a crucial role in ensuring our raw materials, finished products, and stability samples meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and efficacy.

In this hands-on position, you will:

  • Operate advanced laboratory instrumentation such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and more to support manufacturing operations.
  • Prepare reagents, execute analytical testing, and collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
  • Directly contribute to the health and wellness of our customers by ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Analytical Testing (75%):
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses on raw materials, finished products, and stability samples. Ensure precise documentation and compliance with cGMP regulations and SOPs.
  • Support Laboratory Investigations (10%):
  • Assist with investigations related to atypical or out-of-specification (OOS) results, working closely with supervisors to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement (10%):
  • Participate in initiatives to enhance laboratory operations, reduce inefficiencies, and maintain regulatory readiness.
  • Audit Preparation (5%):
  • Prepare the laboratory for internal and external audits by verifying that all documentation and testing practices are accurate, complete, and audit-ready.

What You Bring:

  • Education & Experience:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical quality control laboratory.
  • Knowledge & Skills:
  • Solid understanding of cGMP regulations and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Proven hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, Malvern, and Empower.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and SAP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures accurately.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and able to shift priorities in a fast-paced environment.
