Job Description
Job Title: Lab Technician - Flow Cytometry
Company: Kelly Science & Clinical (on behalf of a fast-paced biotech/biopharmaceutical company)
Location: Frederick, MD
Employment Type: 3 month contract (potential for extension based on business needs)
Pay: $22/hr-$28/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday, first shift, 30-40hrs/week
We’re looking for Lab Technicians with hands-on flow cytometry experience to support a fast-paced biotech/lab environment.
- What you’ll be doing:
- Prepare and stain biological samples (blood, bone marrow, cell cultures)
- Run multi-color flow cytometry (FACS) experiments
- Perform instrument setup, calibration, QC, and basic troubleshooting
- Support data acquisition and analysis (FlowJo or similar)
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with GLP/GMP standards
- What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field
- Prior experience with flow cytometry (required)
- Experience with antibody staining and sample prep
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced lab
