Legal Associate (Mid-Level) SaaS & IT Services Role: Legal Associate (Mid-Level) Location: Pune / Hybrid / Remote - specify Company: Your Company Name Department: Legal & Compliance About the Role We are hiring a Legal Associate (Mid-Level) to support the legal and compliance needs of our fast-growing SaaS and IT Services organization. This role requires strong experience in commercial contracting, technology agreements, data protection, and corporate governance. IT Services experience is absolutely mandatory.

Candidates without SaaS / IT Services / Technology Services legal exposure will NOT be considered.

What You Will Do - Draft, review, and negotiate technology contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, SaaS Agreements, DPAs, NDAs, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements

• Manage the full contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and risk reviews
• Support compliance for ISO 27001, ISO 27701, GDPR, HIPAA, and other regulatory frameworks
• Handle IP-related matters: trademark filings, licensing, and IP documentation
• Work closely with Sales, Procurement, HR, Delivery, Product, and InfoSec teams
• Maintain legal trackers, MIS, and audit-ready documentation
• Provide legal research, internal advisories, and risk assessments Mandatory Requirements (Strict Screening) To apply, you must meet ALL the requirements below: 1. IT Services / SaaS Experience (Mandatory) - 4-7 years of legal experience working directly in an IT Services, SaaS, or Technology Services environment
• Hands-on experience with IT contracting: MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, Professional Services Agreements, Product Licensing, etc. 2.

Tech-Contracting Expertise - Proven ability to independently draft and negotiate technology-focused contracts

• Understanding of data protection and cross-border contracting 3. Legal & Regulatory Knowledge - Working knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, Indian data protection laws, and IT Act
• Familiarity with ISO standards is a plus Qualifications - LLB required; LLM preferred
• Experience using CLM tools and legal automation software is an advantage
