General Farm Labourer

Position Summary\r\n\r\nWe are seeking a reliable, hardworking General Labourer to join our cow/calf beef ranch team. This position involves a variety of daily ranch maintenance and livestock support duties. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions, is physically fit, and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and productive ranch environment.\r\n\r\nResponsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\n\tClean and maintain barns, pens, and livestock facilities.\r\n\tRemove manure and bedding, and assist with general barn sanitation.\r\n\tBuild, repair, and maintain fences.\r\n\tPick and control weeds throughout pastures, corrals, and yard areas.\r\n\tAssist with general ranch maintenance and upkeep.\r\n\tOperate hand tools and basic farm equipment safely and responsibly.\r\n\tHelp maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\r\n\tSupport livestock care as needed, including moving cattle and assisting with feeding.\r\n\tComplete other ranch duties as assigned.\r\n\r\n\r\nQualifications\r\n\r\n\r\n\tPrevious farm or ranch experience is an asset but not required.\r\n\tAbility to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs (23 kg).\r\n\tComfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.\r\n\tStrong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.\r\n\tReliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.\r\n\tValid driver's license is an asset.\r\n\r\n\r\nSkills and Attributes\r\n\r\n\r\n\tDependable and motivated.\r\n\tGood communication skills.\r\n\tAbility to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.\r\n\tAttention to detail and pride in maintaining ranch facilities.\r\n\tPositive attitude and willingness to learn.\r\n\r\n\r\nWorking Conditions\r\n\r\n\r\n\tOutdoor work in all seasons and weather conditions.\r\n\tPhysically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.\r\n\tOccasional weekend or extended hours may be required during busy seasons.\r\n\r\n
