About The JobJPI has an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Lead to join our Supply Chain team located in Dallas, TX.
The Supply Chain Logistics Lead is accountable for managing and overseeing the end-to-end submittal and material procurement coordination process across active projects.
This role leads the Supply Chain Logistics function, ensures operational execution is completed effectively by Specialists and offshore support teams, and maintains alignment with procurement, construction schedules, and risk mitigation objectives.
The Lead is responsible for planning work, resolving escalations, maintaining dashboards and performance metrics, managing offshore resources, writing and updating SOPs, structuring the department, and reporting performance to senior leadership.
This position is accountable for results, process innovation, and continuous improvement.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Submittal & Material Oversight
- Oversee the full lifecycle of submittals and material coordination across assigned portfolio.
- Ensure Specialists execute workflows accurately and in alignment with project schedules.
- Serve as escalation point for delayed approvals, procurement risks, or consultant bottlenecks.
- Ensure procurement readiness aligns with buyout milestones and construction sequencing.
OPC Schedule Governance
- Ensure Specialists are consistently statusing all submittal and material procurement items against the OPC schedule across assigned projects.
- Review and validate schedule alignment on a recurring basis to confirm accuracy and completeness of reporting.
- Ensure risks, delays, and long-lead exposures are properly identified, escalated, and communicated to the Project and Technical teams in a timely manner.
- Drive cross-functional discussions to resolve schedule-impacting issues and protect construction milestones.
Department Leadership & Structure
- Lead and manage Supply Chain Logistics Specialists.
- Manage offshore support team and allocate workload effectively.
- Structure departmental processes and workload distribution to maintain efficiency.
- Develop and update Submittal and Material Procurement SOPs.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and maintain dashboards and key performance indicators.
- Track approval cycle times, procurement readiness, and risk trends.
- Report performance metrics to Supply Chain Director and senior management.
- Drive process improvements and standardization across the Logistics vertical.

Education, Work Experience, & Physical Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years’ experience in construction operations, procurement, logistics, or project coordination.
- Prior leadership or team management experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, reporting, and process development skills.
- Proficient in one or more of the following software applications namely Procore, Sage, Airtable, and Microsoft Suite.
- Act as a representative and advocate of JPI’s culture and guiding principles.
- Maintain full-time, in-person collaboration (Monday–Friday).
- Demonstrate leadership presence and cross-functional alignment.
