Responsibilities

• Assist experienced electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites and industrial facilities.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as wiring, conduit installation, and fixture mounting.
• Measure electrical components with tools like the ohmmeter and ensure proper connections following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage systems, adhering strictly to safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
• Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with tools
• Prior experience with industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprint reading is highly desirable.
• Basic electrical experience or coursework related to electrical systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, NEC standards, and use of the ohmmeter will set you apart.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy materials and working at heights in a construction setting.
